If a member is eligible and wishes to play from the white tees, they should make that declaration when they post that they are playing. But not during the club championship (which is scratch match play). Any member who is 70+ with a handicap of over 15 can play from the White tees. A new rule was voted on at the general membership meeting.Maybe we put a hat on the table and if someone wants to donate they can. One of our members is very involved with this cause. I heard about it at my Indian motorcycle group. Maybe a 50/50 benifiting them and when we do our yearly snake donations maybe that would be another way to channel some money to this charity. What the really are looking for is money at this time. They have a good supply of material items at this time. They had their drive for supplies already.
